This year’s tour promises an unforgettable evening, beginning with a Cocktail Reception that features delicious drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Mingle with fellow history enthusiasts while enjoying a special presentation about the historic buildings included in this year’s tour. But don’t expect to learn too much too soon—the specific tour destinations will remain a closely guarded secret until the night of the event, adding an air of mystery to the entire experience.
The adventure kicks off at 7:00 PM, when attendees will be divided into groups and led to the first of several stops. Each location will highlight one of Downtown Mason City’s storied buildings. As you step inside these historic structures, you’ll be greeted by a “spirit” from the building’s past. These spirits will share tales of intrigue, tragedy, and perhaps a few ghostly encounters, bringing history to life in a truly unique way.
The evening concludes with a Dessert Reception at the final location, offering a sweet ending to a night of discovery and delight. Due to the popularity of this event, advance registration is strongly encouraged—tickets tend to sell out quickly.
