Friday Night Live Returns to Downtown Mason City for Summer 2026
Get ready to kick off another unforgettable summer in downtown Mason City! Main Street Mason City is excited to announce the return of the beloved Friday Night Live Summer Series beginning Friday, June 5th, 2026.
Join us every Friday night from June 5th through August 14th for FREE live music from 6 PM-8 PM on the Federal Avenue Pedestrian Plaza at the Principal Performing Arts Pavilion. Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and enjoy an evening filled with great music, local flavor, and community spirit in the heart of downtown.
Friday Night Live has become a cherished summer tradition, bringing people together to celebrate local talent, support small businesses, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of downtown Mason City. Guests are encouraged to come early to shop, dine, and enjoy drinks from a variety of locally owned restaurants, bars, and eateries throughout the district.
This year’s line-up features an exciting mix of musical styles and performances from talented local and regional artists:

Main Street Mason City is proud to support local musicians and provide a platform that showcases a wide variety of genres and performances throughout the summer season. All performances will take place outdoors at the Principal Performing Arts Pavilion on the Federal Avenue Pedestrian Plaza. In the event of inclement weather, performances will move indoors to the pavilion at Southbridge Mall.
