KCMR FM’s 2026 Sharathon

KCMR FM invites listeners, local businesses, and friends of the station to come together for the 2026 Sharathon, a two-day celebration of community and local, non-commercial radio!  

The Sharathon will take place Thursday, October 8th, and Friday, October 9th, from 9:00 AM–4:00 PM at The Manor (4 3rd Street NW) in downtown Mason City.

Throughout the two-day event, guests can enjoy live entertainment, a silent auction, bake sale, live interviews, and more. On Friday, KCMR will also host a Listener Appreciation Lunch from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.

Community members are encouraged to stop by, meet the KCMR team, browse the auction and bake sale, enjoy the entertainment, and consider making a contribution to support the station. Local businesses can also participate by donating an item, gift certificate, service, or other contribution to the silent auction.

KCMR FM is a locally owned, non-commercial radio station serving listeners throughout northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. Funds raised during the Sharathon help keep KCMR on the air and support the music, programming, community connections, and local voice the station provides.
