SOLD OUT Southbridge Movie Theatre: Footloose

Celebrate the reopening of the Southbridge Mall Movie Theatre in Downtown Mason City! Originally opened on May 23, 1985, the beloved cinema is being brought back to life with a special grand opening celebration on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

In honor of the original theatre era, guests are invited to enjoy free showings of the 1984 classic Footloose. The celebration begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 AM, followed by four free screenings throughout the day.

NOTE: ALL ADVANCE TICKETS HAVE BEEN RESERVED. 

A very limited number of tickets at the door are $5, first-come, first-served, subject to availability. Seating is limited.
