2026 Iowa Independent Film Festival

Plan to attend the 2026 Iowa Independent Film Festival in Mason City!  The event kicks off on Thursday, September 10th, at the Mason City Public Library at 6 PM.  Lorados will be hosting an After Party, starting at 9 PM. 

On Friday, September 11th, enjoy the day viewing show films at the Mason City Community Theatre or the Southbridge Theater, at 11:45 AM.  End the night at the After Party at Sport’s Page or The Boulevard (in Clear Lake) starting at 9 PM. 

Saturday, September 12th, the day starts at 11:30 AM, at Mason City Community Theatre or Southbridge Theater to view another day of outstanding independent films.  The Awards Ceremony follows at the Mason City Community Theatre, starting at 6:45 PM, followed by the After Party at Brix Wine & Whiskey, starting at 8 PM.  

Admission is $30.00 for the whole weekend, $20.00 for a day pass, and $10.00 for a 2-hour block.  Please note that Thursday night’s “Local Filmmakers Night” and Saturday Award Ceremony are free to attend and no ticket is needed.
