Friday Night Live: juni + betty

Enjoy free live music in the heart of downtown Mason City during the Friday Night Live Summer Series! Held every Friday evening from June through mid-August, this beloved summer tradition brings the community together for an evening of music, food, drinks, and downtown fun at the Principal Performing Arts Pavilion on the Federal Avenue Pedestrian Plaza.

Join us for an evening of soulful harmonies and acoustic folk music as juni+betty take the stage for Friday Night Live on Friday, June 26th in downtown Mason City! Created by songwriters Juni West and Elisabeth Kirby, juni+betty blends original music with unique interpretations of beloved favorites in a style all their own.

The duo’s harmonies create a one-of-a-kind sound full of warmth, emotion, and musical chemistry. Their set combines folk influences with touches of pop, classic country, and rock, featuring covers from artists who have inspired them along the way. Audiences can expect favorites like “Creep” by Radiohead, “Jolene” by Dolly Parton, and “Yellow” by Coldplay alongside original songs from both artists.

Bring your lawn chairs, gather your friends and family, and spend your Friday nights experiencing the energy and atmosphere of downtown Mason City. Guests are encouraged to explore downtown shops, restaurants, bars, and eateries before and during the performances. Music takes place from 6 PM-8 PM and is free and open to the public. In the event of inclement weather, performances will move indoors to the pavilion at Southbridge Mall.
