🐷 Meet Grunt the Pig – Your New Favorite Summer Sidekick!
Downtown Mason City just got a whole lot more fun... and a little more oink-credible! Main Street Mason City is thrilled to introduce Grunt the Pig, our cheerful green mascot who’s ready to spend the summer hanging out in local businesses as part of a downtown scavenger hunt!
The scavenger hunt kicks off on Tuesday, June 10th and runs through Friday, August 1st, with no hunt taking place the week of July 4th.
Each week this summer, Grunt will pop up in a different downtown business. Your mission? Find him!

Watch for weekly clues posted around 10AM every Tuesday on the Main Street Mason City Facebook Page.

Use those clues to track down where Grunt is hiding.

Visit that business, find Grunt, and scan the QR code or fill out the prize entry form.

Get entered to win concert tickets!
📍 A new hiding spot is revealed each week — and more weeks means more chances to win!
🎟 Weekly Prize Drawing:
Everyone who finds Grunt and enters that week will be included in a drawing for a free ticket to see The Pork Tornadoes + Not Quite Brothers LIVE at the Mason City Arena on August 8th!
The winner from each week's drawing will be announced during that week's Friday Night Live. Participants do not need to be present to win. Winners will be contacted using the information they provide on the entry form.
Whether you're a local, a visitor, or just love a good challenge, this is your chance to explore downtown, support small businesses, and maybe even score free concert tickets!
